Oxbow room reveal
July 28, 2020
We wrapped up our Oxbow project in May and I still can't get over all the amazing details from this home! We did a full reveal of this project a few weeks back on the blog but we wanted to take a closer look at some of the spaces throughout the home and show some of our favorite rooms and sources. So for today's room reveal we chose our clients oldest daughters bedroom. Being the oldest, she gave us a lot more input on the design and finishes of her space. She wasn't interested in any pink, so we found a really pretty dusty purple and ran with it! From the ensuite bath wallpaper to the pillows and art, this room is perfect for her to mature in to.

Wendt Custom Cabinets build these adorable bookcases and window seat. We kept some open shelving to display books, photos and anything else she might come up with, but still kept things practical with a lot of closed storage under the bench and on both sides. The sconces shining down on the window seat make a pretty ideal spot to curl up with a book and enjoy the golf course views.

For the furniture, we kept things pretty simple. A classic brass bedroom and matching side-tables - these pieces fit the room but can easily be arranged with new bedding and accessories if she tires of the purple!

Did I mention the kids bedrooms each come with their own en-suite and walk in closet? Talk about goals. We did a very whimsical purple wallpaper in the bathroom with brass fixtures throughout. Again with the details. (insert drooling emoji)

This room resulted in a femine and playful space, yet it strikes a very mature balance that this lucky girl can enjoy for many years to come.
